Salmon on the Oregon Coast

Robin and I spent our three overlapping days of Spring break in Portland and Neskowin, Oregon.  After flying into Portland we met Chris Linn from Boora Architects with his wife at Kask for a cocktail.  Robin and I grabbed a late dinner at Gruner.  Their burger was outstanding.

On Friday we toured the Boora offices before a great lunch at Clyde Common in the Ace Hotel.  It was sufficiently hipster and quite good.  We were then off to the coast.

Our good friends Gwen and Will drove down from Seattle and met us for a great weekend in Neskowin.  We managed to find the only two days of sun in Oregon in the past forever.  We grabbed fish from a great fish stand and cooked up a great salmon dinner with Spanish white beans.

It was great to be with good friends in such a spectacular place.
