We could not have a week in the Knitchen without some Jack Bishop.  This was a yummy, simple dinner.  It did involve three pots and about forty minutes.  With an early “Bear Tracks Breakfast” at 6:00 this morning, a full day of kindergarten, and then a run after work, Robin was tired and ready for dinner.

Jack Bishop’s Polenta with Cauliflower & Onions

As planned, my parents came to SF this morning.  I soon realized that I planned far too much food.  What I ended up making was quite tasty, though.

To Start:

  • Padron Peppers with sea salt and goat cheese
  • Pomodori Al Forno

The Main:

  • Salt & Pepper Rib Eye
  • Balsamic Onions
  • Roasted Potatoes

  • Peanut Butter Cookies with Buy-Rite Mexican Chocolate Ice-cream

It was all well appreciated and so great to have my parents here!
